Professional Experience

Thermal Process Development

2026-Present

Digital Transformation Consultant / Project Manager (Contract)

  • Built and maintained an open-source VBA Excel add-in that turns Smartsheet exports into branded customer equipment lists, project schedules, and vendor quote packages, cutting a 4+ hour, several-hundred-click manual build to 4 clicks and about 10 seconds.

Kingdom Hell

2016-Present

Owner / Producer / Audio Engineer(Home studio)

  • Produced and engineered dozens of recordings from a home studio with a separate live room, all released and streamed publicly, delivering professional-sounding music at a great value to artists.
  • Programmed humanized MIDI parts for VST instruments during recording sessions, making virtual instruments sound like live players.
  • Performed on several releases in addition to producing and engineering them, picking up parts artists hadn't practiced or couldn't play in the time allotted, keeping sessions moving.
  • Designed studio signal routing through a patchbay, preamps, and audio interface, and moved all processing in the box, making every session fully recallable across projects that stretch over months.
  • Produced and engineered all studio projects in Studio One, my primary DAW since 2011, drawing on deep knowledge of how it runs and a large set of shortcuts to move through sessions quickly.
  • Diagnosed signal problems by tracing weak or degraded audio through the chain, such as clearing a healthy microphone by testing it directly into a preamp and confirming bad patch cables as the cause, avoiding an unnecessary replacement.
  • Learned and configured unfamiliar effects on request mid-session, researching and experimenting so artists could keep recording without delays.

Jabroni Productions

2013-Present

Event Coordinator / Project Manager(Volunteer)

  • Organized an annual charity music festival for 11 years as one of three volunteer organizers, raising about $2,000 each year for Y'all Rock Camps, an inclusive music camp program.
  • Managed venue booking, band selection and scheduling, sound and gear, and promotion for a 20-band festival with audiences up to 400, plus about 10 smaller shows a year, delivering well-oiled shows and a community that keeps bands returning year after year.
  • Sped up stage changeovers by encouraging gear sharing between bands and helping performers load on and off stage, keeping a 20+ band lineup on schedule.
  • Set clear, upfront expectations with performers: paid out-of-town bands fairly, asked local bands to donate their time, and directed all surplus to the charity, building trust and avoiding disputes over money.

Care Communication Board

2026

Solo Developer / Product Owner(Personal project)

  • Combined an AI coding agent, generative voice synthesis (ElevenLabs), and on-device text-to-speech into one product that also plays recorded human voices, giving the user natural-sounding speech with a fallback that always works.
  • Delivered v1.0 on two platforms in 13 days and kept shipping to 156+ issues, 168+ pull requests, and 8+ releases, turning caregiver feedback into 130+ shipped changes.

Geek Squad

2009-2011

Store Agent(Part-time)

  • Diagnosed desktop and laptop problems by running diagnostic suites to pinpoint failing components, giving customers and Geek Squad agents visibility into what needed repair.
  • Replaced and upgraded components in customers' computers as requested, including storage drives, RAM, power supplies, optical drives, laptop keyboards, touchpads, and screens, restoring and extending the life of their machines.
