Recordings made at Kingdom Hell, my home studio, mostly production and engineering for other artists. The roles shown are the ones credited to me on each release's Bandcamp page, where the full credits are.

My high school bandmates and I were poor and wanted to figure out how to record so we could become rockstars. We started with a 4 track and, over the years, we've each taken our own path in music, but we remain grounded in that we all know how to, and still actively, record bands.

My home doubles as a recording studio that I call Kingdom Hell, as I'm directly next to a Kingdom Hall and I enjoy tongue-in-cheek irreverence.

Kingdom Hell rates

  • $300 for a full, loud day.
  • $200 for a vocal/DI day.
  • $60 /hour for most else.

I can do as much or as little production as you want. At the end, I'll give you a very rough mix of every song, all its stems, and the entire song folder.

Before coming in...

You don't really HAVE to do these, but they will save you time/money/frustration

  • Practice to a metronome (whether you're using it for a song or not).
  • Demo your parts. Make sure you and your bandmates know what to play, when to play it, how to play it, and that they can actually play it. This includes vocals. Phone recordings will suffice.
  • Make sure drums, drum hardware, guitars, pedals, cords, and amps are working properly and are set up for use (action set, intonated...)
  • Change consumables - drum heads and guitar strings.
