I love the look of imperfect copy-collaged/vandalized zines and old boxing fliers so I try to emulate those. I also like poking fun at bad or low-effort fliers. Bands, venues, and promoters like knowing they're being paid attention to, but keeping them humble is of utmost importance.

To me, fliers need to have bands, location, and date. It's common knowledge punk shows start around 7, and if you want to get specifics, you can do some googling after knowing you like the bands, have the means, and want to make the show a priority that evening. Preferentially, I like seeing the year, but I'll concede that if it makes things busier than I want.

I HATE boring looking band names/logos. I try to make sure they're angled, traced, and/or fonted in a unique way.

    with Good Looking Friends and Freezing Cold. I got sick of this alt flier project around this point so I never filled in the band names.

    Five Hundred Bucks was asked to go on a tour with Signals Midwest as direct support. In the spirit of keeping people humble, I made some alt fliers for social media featuring Five Hundo more prominently using promo photos we'd recently taken in Lancaster, PA before a show at Nomad Skate Shop (RIP). Additional photos and textures are from around Nomad, Lancaster, and our guitar player's house in Philly. The cuck chair is from the men's bathroom at the Earl.

    Siggies are the sweetest and most humble people and an amazing band so everything worked out. 11/10 would recommend touring with them forever.
